neil complaining about starbucks, yet getting his Pono players made in sweatshops in China, was pretty pathetic.

So I got to play with my pals pj pono player. Sad to report it looks and feels cheap. Almost like a piece of def leppard merchandise. Cheap 'silver' effect plastic and it doesn't feel like it'd survive a drop at all. Real shame but glad I didn't get one

Love mine....essentially a beta product meant for enthusiasts, though not horrible for a company with 7 full-time employees...
Serves one purpose and does it well...sounds great.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…
