Pretty Comprehensive Mother Love Bone Site

When a band is but a fraction of Pearl Jam, but they aren't zero Pearl Jam.

Pretty Comprehensive Mother Love Bone Site

Post by DeLima »

Basically has everything that was recorded outside of the studio releases (shows, demos, etc) collected on one site. I forgot how good the full-band Crown of Thorns demo is (track #17 of the 2nd demos disc). Andy Wood is totally Robert Plant in the last minute or so of that take.

Anyway, mods feel free to move it to OB if you'd rather it be there, but I thought I'd put it here for now.

I'm not really a fan of MLB, but I would love to hear Andy's take on Dollar Short (Alive). It would be fascinating to see how the song evolved into Pearl Jam's Alive.

In the PJ20 book Stone mentioned that there may be a bootleg out there with them playing Dollar Short live. I think he said is was played in Portland.
It would be a shame if there is someone out there unknowingly withholding this.

Agreed. It would weird to see how such an iconic PJ song would sound with MLB. We'd see contrastingly how similar or dissimilar they are more conclusively for really the first time.

Loved this site also. MLB were awesome live :D :heartbeat:

The Crown of Thorns demo is so good. Great whispery interlude from Andy, and then he just goes off at the end. http://www.motherlovebone.yolasite.com/ ... Thorns.mp3
