to date, the best bourbon i've had is george t. stagg. i only had a glass of it at a bar a few weeks ago. the bottles are hard to find and pretty expensive. i assume when my lips meet pappy van winkle, should that ever occur, i will have a new favorite.

i highly recommend stagg to anyone who can find it. it's a seasonal release from the buffalo trace distillery, and, like everything they make, it's wonderful.

Yeah, JW Black is about the only "affordable" blended scotch that I'll drink.
