I think the dog collars are a stupid piece of merchandise, although I'm guessing there are enough fans with enough disposable income who will buy this crap. I just don't think they are anything other than a stupid piece of merchandise, as opposed to an existential statement about the band.

I am with stip. The dog collars are comically lame and comically expensive (although, I am certain that the 10C knows exactly how many fans have the money and interest to buy these things and have commissioned exactly enough to meet that demand), but I don't view them as a sign that Pearl Jam has "gone corporate" and is trying to bleed every last dollar out of their fans. If you're going to bleed your fans, you have to produce something that a large number of fans, including lukewarm fans, will buy. This is not that product, and there is no way in hell that anyone at the Ten Club thinks it is.

Another 10C print with stickers? I'm 35 years old, what the fuck am I supposed to do with all these stickers? And again, they don't even say "Pearl Jam" on them.
