then how do you explain your perfect taste in television?
I've never seen the Sopranos past season 2.
i've seen a handful of sopranos episodes. i have a feeling, deep in my bones, that it might be overrated. same goes for breaking bad.
Breaking Bad is excellent.
i dunno. i've seen quite a bit of it (often out of order, although i saw most of the final season in the correct sequence) and my main takeaway is: 'wow, look at how badass this guy is. he does some pretty terrible stuff motivated both by his love for his family and by his lust for power.' are you telling me it's actually more interesting than that?

Yes.

Can I ask why you would watch episodes of a TV show out of order? Do you watch random 15 minute chunks of movies as well?

my old roommate loved it, as well as nearly every friend who came to visit us, so it would often be showing

that's just the shock of seeing your favorite show flippantly encapsulated by somebody who doesn't care about it. you'll get over it.

There really was more to it than that, Alex. You should give it a proper watch one day.

most people who tell me breaking bad is great are people who haven't seen the wire. you're one of the few, tommy, who has seen the wire and still insists on breaking bad's greatness. for that simple fact alone, i will vow to give the show another shot.

i see no reason that a guy who used to be an x-files staff writer can't create the second-best television show of all time. seems unfortunate enough to be true.

I'm sorry. I'm not giving you much to work with here.

In its heyday, I had only ever watched it if I stumbled upon it while channel surfing. My wife, however, is a fan of Frasier, so we have watched a few episodes together. So although I am familiar with the characters, I have not really done more than dip my toes in the water.

frasier is the second-best television show of all time. considering people are saying that about breaking bad all the time, i assume it's code for "it's a pretty good show."
