Maybe Rock eliminates Reigns, setting up Rock to put him over at Mania. I've read that Rock wont be working Mania, though.

It's a great way to do something with Reigns at Mania that establishes him as a top guy, without turning the fans against him. Like I said though, I don't think Rock is working Mania.

watching the rumble with a group? here's a drinking game if you don't have to be anywhere later on or in the morning.

This was the first time I ever saw anything from Ambrose. I was hooked. He is incredible on the mic. Very old school.

Nights like tonight are why I love the network. I will be busy until about 8. So I can just start the PPV at 8.

We're going to have to talk about Rollins' reverse somersault moonsault thing at some point.

Like i said earlier, i'm new to this. A month in and I thought Rollins was a pretty lame heel. I was wrong. That guy owned the whole evening. Holy shit!

The rumble itself was pretty boring and predictable.

Also, I looked it up: Diamond Dallas is 58! Strat migt be onto something with tnis yoga thing.

They really need to either dump tag teams or establish some new shit. My wife commented that in the month we've been watching, the Usos only fight the Miz.

So of this set up Wrestlemania, what the hell is the February ppv about?

Well, for a few years the PPV after the Rumble was Elimination Chamber, and there were a few cases where the belt actually changed hands between the two PPVs--i.e., the main event of WM wasn't set in stone right after the Rumble ended. Of course, this was back when they had two world titles, which was way, way better, I think. Now the February PPV is just used to get storylines rolling for WM; don't expect anything big.

title triple threat match wholly exceeded expectations. what a fun match.

and the rumble was good until bryan got eliminated. then it was one 'wtf?' after another.

this is what you call a legit train wreck ppv. the overall show was rolling along pretty good, and got extra momentum with the lesnar/cena/rollins match, was cruising in the first half of the rumble, and then the wheels fell off one by one until complete derailment. even superman rock couldn't save the day.

how the hell can wwe be so dumb, even with them sticking with the plan to push Reigns, they could have done a few things to keep the crowd from totally shitting on the match. first thing they should have done was bring out Ziggler a spot or 2 after Bryan got eliminated and make him look good and be in the final 4 at least if not the final 2, having him come out at #30 and be gone after only a few minutes was so stupid, it shows once again that they arent even trying to listen to what the people want. second thing they should have done was also keep Ambrose around for longer. the last thing they could have done to help keep the crowd from being so disappointed with Bryan being gone would have been to have Bubba be somewhere around #25 - #30, he was by far the biggest surprise of the night and as cool as it was to see him hit his 3D spots it would have been better to have him come out late, you dont need surprises at the beginning of the Rumble, everyone likes the Rumble match so they are interested no matter who is in there.

now unless something big changes before next years Rumble then i really hope WWE learned that they need to have the belt already on Bryan at the rumble next year ( and dont have him lose it at the rumble unless he will turn around and enter and win the match) or he will have to win or this will happen again

You have to think that Bryan isn't 100% well, otherwise he woulda been in there for more than 10 minutes.

How cool would it have been if Rusev had eliminated Reigns? The place woulda gone nuts.

This is the second year in a row I have watched the Rumble live and both times the show has ended with the crowd booing the winner. What's up with that?

They've just telegraphed the winner of the Rumble for the last three years, so there hasn't been much reason to stick around for the end. Last night's event also lacked many memorable spots, and Bryan's quick elimination made the crowd rebel.
