The question with Rod Carew is where to play him. I'm definitely taking his 1977 season for the offense. But that year he only played four games at second base, and the majority of the season at first. Obviously, if I could play him at second base it'd help my offense. But I don't want to lose on defense either. We shall see.

I was wondering that with Carew as well. Not your prototypical first baseman. He was essentially Mark Grace who could run when he played first. Also, Pete Rose when he gets drafted....where the hell do you play him?

They are Cardinals so they are all ugly.

Nah. I mean, I dug him when he was on the Sox, but he's not a personal favorite or anything.

You already took my all-time favorite player. I am gonna try to take the guy who held the title before him though.
