Where the hell is Kaius? We've got TBAMTS and #BRL here. We can kill the turnaround if he shows up.

Isn't there a book about the Bobby Bonilla/Vince Coleman Mets called "The Worst Team Money Could Buy" or something like that?
Not sure but that would be interesting to read. Without cheating I believe those teams had Eddie Murray as well.

And then TBAMTS explains to us why Jody Davis is for some reason one of the most popular Cubs of the last half-century or so.

(Seriously though, his undying popularity among Cubs fans has always perplexed me)

They adore that 84 team. With good reason I guess. Most 30 something Cubbie fans I know love guys like Lee Smith and Leon Durham as well.

There will always be special places in my heart for guys like Vlad Guerrero, Mike Napoli and Colby Lewis.

That's pretty much it. It was the first time in 40 years they made the playoffs so the whole team (besides Durham) gets a free pass for life.

Gary Matthews JR had maybe the best catch I have ever seen when he was a Ranger. Top 5 at least.

And I suppose the side-effect of that is that "Jump" by Van Halen will be played at every Cubs game until the end of time.

Oh agreed. He was not very good in his career. Had some very good years in Texas though.

For what it's worth, Kaius is skipped at 11:27. TBAMTS' clock does not start until 8 AM tomorrow. That being said, TBAMTS, if you want to PM one of us your picks, we can put them in as soon as Kaius' clock runs out (or as soon as he makes his pick, whichever happens first).
