what if we push the draft two 26 or 27 players, and at midseason and before the playoffs, you're allowed up to two of your players with the players you have on retainer?

I think IF we do something allowing ONE drop, we have a replacement player that we ALL have to use as his replacement, preferably a low level backup backup backup catcher who is unlikely to ever get in a game, even as a pinch runner.

Maybe for the next one, but the draft crapshoot on relievers has played a pretty significant role in my draft strategy to this point.

I would be happy with either of these ideas. To be honest, I'm OK with not allowing drops, too. I've just always found the lack of in-game management frustrating when the simulator keeps making decisions you would never make if you had control.

Realistically, I dont like the notion of changing rosters one bit in a draft situation. Especially when the draft is more than half over.

I think if the majority of people wanted to allow for like a 48 hour waiver wire period over the all-star break period I would be ok with that, but I'm very content to leave things as is.

Absolutely. If you've planned a draft strategy with certain rules in place, then it would be unfair to change the rules half way through.

I think the next tournament will be another draft-less one. I like the idea of only doing drafts for every other tournament.
