Tough one. Both songs I once loved that I've grown over familiar with. Lets say...dissident

Dissident. Many years ago, this was one of my favorites.

Never liked Dissident, but loved Crazy Mary for a few months when I first heard it.

There's something about Dissident that I just don't like. I remember when I was 14 I was playing an online rpg and I met a guy whose name was Dissident and I immediately started to type out the lyrics to him. He told me that he had the name for a different reason and that he didn't even like Pearl Jam. I felt kinda bad because it seemed like it happened a lot.

I'm voting for Crazy Mary even though there are some iterations of the song that I just don't enjoy (i.e., the overly Boom-heavy versions). But back in 2000-2002, this was one of my favorite songs PJ performed. Do yourself a favor and track down the version from Chicago 2000.

I confused myself a bit here; this show has my favorite version of Black ever, not CM. But, still--the mood and sound of the song from this show is where it's at (but a bunch of lyrical flubs prevent it from being the best).

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Dissident kinda sucks.

Dissident is one song I have just never been able to like - infact I really dislike it! There aren't many PJ songs that fall into that category.

With Crazy Mary PJ really took it up a notch and perfected the song. An absolutely amazing cover and an amazing live song.
