I watched some movies the other day... what were they?
Hmmm....
OH! Boyhood.
It was good. Not phenomenal or anything. The most interesting thing about it is the way it was filmed. Birdman is leagues better and I'd take GBH over it, too (as far as Oscar noms go).
Also watched Life After Beth. It was fine. A couple of huge belly laughs. Some smaller laughs. But the tone was all over the place. The thing had no idea what it wanted to be. And hits huge slags at times. But I enjoyed it as a Netflix rental.

So I'm watching Fifth Element. It's been a long time, but I recall having a generally positive opinion of it.
These robots at the beginning are terrible. If they weren't so obese that they had to waddle the one would've definitely made it through the pyramid door before it closed on him.
