Hey, Platy, you see a lot of international cinema. Did you see Tarr's The Turin Horse yet and how is it? Is it as painfully slow as Werckmeister Harmonies ?

I'm a huge fan of David Lindsay-Abaire (who wrote the original play) and I liked the play a lot. A lot, a lot. Because of that I haven't seen the movie yet. I'm afraid of it.
But I should check it out. Totally forgot that Michell directed it. Huge plus.

I like a film that takes its time and breathes a little, but even so, the pacing of this one has always made me apprehensive. Silly, I know.

There was a clumsy humor in the movie that I wasn't expecting, but it was nice.
