I mean, I have watched porn. But it's not something I seek out and few with any kind of regularity.godeatgod wrote:do u watch porn everdurdencommatyler wrote:Of course. The stuff I tend to listen to is not.LoathedVermin72 wrote:You guys know that not all rap is misogynistic and violent, right?
A lot of the rap I grew up with wasn't at all. Stuff like Public Enemy, Boogie Down Productions, Beastie Boys, A Tribe Called Quest, Digable Planets, and the like were really really good without being misogynistic, or violent. I know there are rappers out there today like that, but I just don't listen to much new rap, or new music in general much anymore.durdencommatyler wrote:Of course. I'm not even talking about overt references to misogyny or violence (though the 'bitches and niggas' shit gets old fast). Just the tone of almost every song I hear is like a mean spirited attack. Not that there is anything inherently wrong with that (except that its fucking done to death), I just don't want to hear someone yell at me for the length of an album.darth_vedder wrote:A lot of the rap I grew up with wasn't at all.
