I voted Smile, but I think it's mostly due to Betterman oversaturation.

I like the chorus of "Smile", but not much else. Never been a fan of bluesy PJ. "Better Man" is a classic, though.

This choice comes down to subjective vs objective through the lens of PJ fandom.

I prefer to listen to Smile because it makes me a better fan (see what I did there?), but Betterman is one of the best (if not the best) pop rock songs to emerge from the 90s.
