Both of these songs have fallen a bit for me. RM is probably 3 or 4 on No Code, but PT is 5 or 6

Present Tense really suffers from the vocal changes Ed has made to it in the past 8 years or so. I was listening to one of the Katowice boots recently and the delivery of the song from start to finish was amazing.

But Red Mosquito has always been good. Brooding in a way that's never cringe-worthy or bordering on eye-roll, and has a guitar part that's been tough for the band to recapture.

Likewise. I think it's the same thing with Lukin, it's the live version I'm not crazy about. Lukin I flat out hate live. PT, is pretty good live, but I like the groove of the studio take of the jam; it's one of PJ's best moments.

Anyway, for me, I'm voting for this place's namesake. RM, both the song and the forum, has grown on me over the years.
