Thought this woulda been a huge upset...but last year, Brain of J finished 40th and Sleight of Hand finished 43rd. Go figure.

For last year, if I remember correctly, I was ordering by round reached and then by vote percentage in that round (not number of votes, since each matchup doesn't have the same number of votes). It's not a perfect system, since sometimes songs that got a higher overall percentage of votes in all their matches were ranked below songs that happened to have a good round (but the argument can be made that those songs with a higher overall % simply had easier early-round matches). I'll post last year's rankings in the general thread.

I'm way behind this year, may catch up tomorrow. The rankings are going to be way different due to the format change. We talked a bit about doing straight seeding last year, and I think the overall consensus is that the early rounds would just be boring as hell. I think we should alternate: one year straight free-for-all, next year some sort of divisions, then back to free-for-all.

I've never gotten the love for SoH - it's not bad, I just don't think it's great

Last year I would have voted for Brain of J. I was never such a big Sleight of Hand fan
However, It has grown a lot on me the last few months, this is still very tough match, but I think SoH gets my vote.
