I ate too much ice cream last night and now my stomach hurts. I must have been really gassy last night because when I woke up this morning my bedroom smelled very strongly of fart.

I'd forgotten you knew this area. Abbott's and zweigles hot dogs, perfect summer foods only found here. almost makes up for the overarching lousiness of winter in upstate NY... not quite, but almostEJ wrote:Abbott's =malice wrote:one of the few truly great things about rochester new york is abbott's frozen custard.spike wrote:tommymtcom wrote:Spike nailed this one on the last page. I can see how you would draw that conclusion, but the gas was unrelated to the ice cream. I'm pretty sure I was gassy because of the hummus and falafel I ate for lunch.spike wrote:i think you may be lactose intolerant, tommy.

Nice. I will be down there this spring for my Nephew's graduation. I will for sure be having Blue Bell.

Re: Rank the ice cream
As a Texan I obviously love Blue Bell but I don't know that it's the best. It's definitely the comfort food of ice creams for me though.
Favorites:
Blue Bell-Pecan Praline, Happy Tracks, Homemade Vanilla (best by far to serve with cobbler/other desserts)
Haagen Daz-Dulce De Leche, Pina Colada, Sticky Toffee Pudding
Ben + Jerry's-Late Night Snack, Dublin Mudslide, Cheesecake Brownie
Probably the best ice cream I've had in my life was at this place:

The caramel salt lick and goat cheese, thyme, and honey are both crazy good.

What's the difference between regular, French, Homemade, and Vanilla Bean? I know one is gross, and one is great, but I don't know which ones are which.

We couldn't figure it out. He went with Vanilla Bean but wasn't confident about it.E.H. Re: Rank the ice cream
Full disclosure: I don't really know the difference between "Homemade" and regular, so those are interchangeable.
