I spent a long time looking. Binaural is my favourite and I have a soft spot for Avocado so paid a bit more than I would've liked!

No Code is my next challenge,
You might want to hang on at this point. It's highly likely that we see more vinyl reissues for the post-Vitalogy albums in the near future. I'm not basing this on anything, other than the band's need to sell something in-between new albums.

Yea but are they going to be fucked up and toyed with in the reissue process? Thats the question

I'm not sure what the original pressings sound like, but I thought both these records sounded amazing and were dead quiet and flat right out of the jacket. You can't say that about too many new records these days. I guess I'm just going to have to complete the whole Wilco collection now. ;)
Summerteeth and A Ghost Is Born have been on my wantlist for a long time, but I've never seen a price that's super "pull the trigger!" Maybe soon, but I've pre-ordered a lot of stuff lately.
I got Being There are Summerteeth from Collector's Choice for like $20 plus there was a promotion if you spend over $50:

I managed to stumble across a guy locally selling the first editions of
Ten
Vs
Vitalogy
No Code
Riot Act
Lost Dogs

Manage to score them all for around $200

You mean $200 each or was it $200 in total but 12 years ago?

$200 total. It was last year - or the end of the year before

That promo code still works, and I could get the 4 albums I want (all double-LPs) for like $19 each shipped...very tempting...but I just pre-ordered the Red House Painters set today, so I may have to wait a week to see if the promo still works.

I ordered 100 10'' poly sleeves and I used them to protect my 10'' record today.

In other news: what am I going to do with 90 10'' poly bags?

Never used Collectors Choice. Is it pretty decent in terms of pricing?

I've quit playing all vinyl until I finish building my new setup. Been on the hunt for a Marantz receiver at a decent price, but keep getting hosed on ebay.

Ah, fuck it, I ordered those 4 Wilco records. That sale was tough to beat. I checked the CCMusic thread on Vinyl Collective, and it appears that they even do 25% off sales sometimes. I'll keep my eyes open...

So did you guys take advantage of the Collector's Choice offer or what?
I was pretty happy with the prices, the only shit part on my end is that it's delivered via UPS once the package arrived in Canada and it's so much more hassle vs. regular mail. Otherwise, they're highly recommened.

I did not. Thought about it. The prices were great. I just need to watch unnecessary spending for a bit. But I allllllllmost pulled the trigger on four albums I really REALLY want. Oh well.

Hopefully, another opportunity will present itself in the future. Thanks for the link/code though. :peace:

As I wrote above that I did!

Did you get a tracking number? I got a shipping confirmation but can't find tracking in the email or on the website.
