It's only been one episode right? I started watching it but it was kind of by accident and I ended up DVRing the episode and haven't revisited ye. I enjoyed the 20 + minutes I saw.

But if we're only one episode in and they aren't force feeding information, I take that as a huge plus.

Interesting. And weird. I got a distinctly "genre" (maybe not "sci-fi" or "horror" but something akin) feel from the trailers. I don't know. I'll give it a few episodes. But the lack of enthusiasm is bumming me out. I'd hoped it would be the next LOST.

Agreed; it definitely has a distinct "genre" feel, which is actually what first drew me to it. But, like soooo many other TV shows, the lack of anything interesting directorially put me off. As did the tired, stock characters. It has kind of a cool look, though.
