I want so badly to believe this is simply your reaction to the post, and not something from an AD song.
It's the chorus to Mr. Wendell, right?
More that yell he does at the beginning of the song, but yeah. It's immediately what comes to mind when I think of Arrested Development.

My first concert was Huey Lewis and the News in 1988. I was 5.

My first concert that I didn't have to leave early because of bedtime was The Smashing Pumpkins in 1996.

You should probably bury the Elton John story, and go with "Johnny Cash was my first concert" from here on out.
i've seen elton a few times..he's a top 5 for me..albeit his pre 1980 stuff

Mine is deeply embarrassing but I'd imagine pretty common for Australians of a certain vintage: silverchair in 1996 supported by the Mark of Cain and the Superjesus.

At least the Mark of Cain redeem the experience to some extent.

Almost went to the Frogstomp tour. My best mate did - said it was pretty much like going to a high school disco with the age of most of the others who went.

My first concert was R.E.M. / Grant Lee Buffalo / Crowded House on R.E.M.'s Monster tour. Fuck I hate Crowded House and all things Neil Finn
