All Those Yesterdays against Cropduster was a pretty tough one.
This isnt, AtY is a million times better than Of the Girl.

Of the girl is so fucking good. I would love that song to open every show. And close it down. Its so sexy. Sparse. The interplay is wonderful. Simple yet effective. Sleek yet vigilante

I agree. Although I still would have voted ATY over Cropduster.

Of the Girl is overrated in my opinion. I guess it is a nice atmospheric slow jam and something Pearl Jam doesn't do much of, but I still prefer ATY by quite a lot. Shame it will probably lose this match.

"Of the Girl" is a fine song, but "All Those Yesterdays" is Pearl Jam at their poppy, Stoney best. The "what are you running from..." bridge, especially in the studio version, is wonderful -- sing-songy and kind of silly-sounding, but also weirdly poised. When I think of why "Yield" is my favorite album, songs like "ATY" are the reason why -- quirky, likable pop tunes void of pretentiousness.
