I like this album lot. Short but sweet. I think Sea Legs and the last one are my favorite so far. I'll be seeing them in August, should be awesome.

According to Wiki

In 2015, a remix album is scheduled to be released through Fool's Gold. In addition to the traditional remix album, El-P plans on releasing a remix album titled Meow the Jewels, featuring beats created entirely from cat sounds. Other producers, such as Just Blaze, Prince Paul, The Alchemist, Geoff Barrow, Dan the Automator, Boots and more will contribute to the project. The creation of this album was funded through Kickstarter, with part of the proceeds going to charity.

There was video of them going to cat shelters looking at cats and they looked in over their heads with this project already

Just gave a the whole album a listen to for the first time today. I like it, but there's things out there I like more - so I don't see this getting many repeat listens

Still listening to that new D'Angelo album a lot, plus I've been digging through The Phosphorescent's back catalog a bit and really digging that

I'm really happy to see RM'ers chatting about this. It's such a fun group and their 2 releases so far have been beyond solid. I found them both worthy to be AOTY contenders.
