yes, but my apple-storing approach is hardly consistent. sometimes i leave them out.

NPR told me that when one apple starts to turn, it releases a gas that causes the other apples around it to also turn. You want to keep them in the fridge because it stops the chain reaction from even starting.

That's true.

If you place an apple and a banana in a brown bag overnight, by the morning they will have farted each other ripe.

thank you, chud. taking care of apples is really important. on the subject of apples, i haven't eaten the final apple from the bag of apples that i bought at the store over the weekend, but i'll post in this thread when i do. if i don't post while eating the apple, i'll be sure to try to post shortly afterward.

i haven't eaten the last apple from the bag of apples i bought at the store over the weekend, but i'm probably going to do that tonight.

Had some good Ambrosias. They are really hit and miss with me because they can be pretty mushy. These were solid, however.

I agree except for in the case of applesauce, though maybe "mushy" isn't commonly used to describe it.

not yet. i brought it to work and i'm going to eat it for a snack later. i forgot to mention that it's the last apple on earth and we can end this thread after i eat the apple.
