Severed Hand. An above average song over an average song. Another case where stronger songs should be here (Cold Confession, Comatose, and maybe Marker).

Both good songs but one I want to hear. Army Reserve has some great mood and movement. The Outro seems underwhelming but is the perfect lead in to Come Back.

Severed Hand is better than I tend to give it credit for, and the album version has a lot better groove than I remember. But Mike's solo somehow manages to be both boring and obnoxious at the same time, and I can't overlook that.

I don't like the way Eddie sounds on Army Reserve, but it's a more interesting song, so it gets my vote.

This is how I feel, too. The verses are wonderful but then the chorus happens. I don't think they make the measure change work very well. Vote for Severed Hand.

Army Reserve has a cool jam, and some of that spacey / atmosphere rock going on, which I typically love, but the song falls a little flat for me. Overall though it's a solid number, but I think I like Severed Hand better.

Yeah, the chorus is abysmal. But the general feel of the music and the strong verses make it a song that I really do enjoy hearing.

I like the chorus - it has that "Riot Act"-esque subtle tension to it, and some good lyrics.

"Severed Hand" is okay but doesn't amount to much more than a riff. "Army Reserve" is an easy vote for me here.
