yep, had one and was really disappointed in dogfish for that one
And on the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised by this Lagunitas Undercover Investigation Shut-Down. Not the best beer I've had, but pretty darn good.
I had one of those last summer. I remember the name but not the taste.

Rampant and that Lagunitas beer are both really good. I found a bar not too far from me that always has at least one really good, really strong beer for only $3.50 a pint, I love it. It's usually a DIPA or something like that.

I've finally turned the corner and enjoy beers that are heavy on hops.

Currently imbibing Green Flash Palate Wrecker, a big American west coast iPa. It's worth getting I think.

I also enjoyed Lagunitas Undercover. It's a good strong ale. I don't really ever buy their iPAs but I like several of their other offerings

i love when people come around to the most wonderful of beers. i had a moment when my buddy, who always only drank PBR and stuff like that, finally found an IPA that he liked.

See, everyone would be better off with an open mind, beer drinkers included. My first "craft beer" was a Rogue Dead Guy about 5 or years ago. Loved it right away. I still enjoy it even after delving deeper than I ever thought I would into the world of beer.

I picked up a 6er of Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barley wine and the Torpedo IPA today. Enjoyed 1 of each and am about to pop one more Barleywine before I call it a night. Enjoyable stuff and easy enough to knock back a few without getting worn out on the flavor. I've got the Pliny, Arrogant Bastard and Old stock in the fridge but I can't get those around here so I drink 'em sparingly. It's been a good night, listening to music and reading articles about Fender FMIC being in the re

Cheers!

Bigfoot is the best American Barleywine out there, IMO. I still have a 2012 left in the cellar too. Where'd you find sixpacks? We only get the four packs in NY.

My last two were pretty awesome.

I think the Hop Notch is a bit better than the Bitter American, but I wouldn't kick either out of bed.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I forgot to pick up Hopnotch while I was in VA have to mark it down for my next visit. I was eying it the entire time I was eating then totally forgot about it.

Will be in Boston for business starting Wednesday, need to scope out some beer bars before I leave.

Just down the road from my house. I should have been a little more clear, it was a build your own 6 pack thing. I went full Barleywine with it.

*I've never tried Hopnotch, I'll add that to my list. Also the Bitter American label is pretty damn cool, reminds me of some Ames Bros artwork.
