Save You (Riot Act demo) as matched song with iTunes

Post by sico_pata »

Something amazing happen today when realize that my Pearl Jam catalogue was uploaded to iTunes Match

One of Riot Act Demo, save you, seems marched was apparently might be an algorithm mistake

But when I checked carefully I could confirm that it's the same song (MP3 vs m4a) with clearer music, a quality upgrade but same take

Checked iTunes store it doesn't exist in its catalogue

Where does it come from? You can confirm with this link

Wow - nice find! :nice:

I've just checked this and it turns out it's actually the 'video' version of Save You! Filmed at Chop Suey (but left off the Chop Suey promo DVD).

My guess is iTunes Match mixed it up with the audio from the music video version which is actually available to purchase here:
https://itunes.apple.com/ca/music-video ... d881644541

Looks like I've got my first upgrade for the B-Sides & Rarities collection :)

Thanks heaps for sharing

Edit: Beaten to the punch by Spenno. The man knows his shit.

Tight. focused. Mean.

I love it.

What a band.

Is there an unedited version out there?

Thanks to all!
I have bad labeled songs, instead Riot Act it should be Live at Chop Suey.

Anyway, any other song of this performance get "matched" status, and we can't upgrade the sound

Alex is just poking fun at our ESL friends. I understood what he meant perfectly.

Marched is an auto corrector change, actually is "matched" (iTunes match song)

Sure it's not my best English sentence

The thing is that the song was not in iTunes catalogue and for me it could be a iTunes algorithm error matching with any other "Save You" in iTunes Store

At last we figure out that Save You is from Chop Suey videoclip

Sorry my bad English
