That is a great show. "Switch Opens"! "Dark Globe"! Chris sounds great too.DeLima wrote:Quick mention for Rotterdam '96 here as a killer show with a pretty damn insane insane version of Helter Skelter. Chris really loses it.

Cornell was such a badass in 96. That guy was lost back then.

I think this is a trap so many bands are falling into. Bleeding their best fans, the ones willing to pay for product, dry. I think and hope this will eventually come back to haunt them.matt reeder wrote:Stuff like this confirms my theory that, while I don't think Soundgarden reunited for the money, they are certainly making sure they make as much cheddar as they can. $140 for a 6LP set? Are they serious? Is that the going rate for these things now?
I still don't own Echo of Miles because I can't see any reason for charging $60 for a 3CD set. Who do they think they are, Kiss the Stone?
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

There's a very telling quote from Kim in the middle of this absolutely scorching version of "Searching With My Good Eye Closed":surfndestroy wrote:I think this is a trap so many bands are falling into. Best version of Searching...ever. I've popped in that DVD numerous times in the past just to watch that part.

Re: Total Fucking Godhead / The Soundgarden Thread
I have a Superunknown tour t-shirt with the album cover and the 1995 tour dates on the back. It's so huge it won't fit me, and I've only washed it once. It was new when I bought it on Ebay ages ago, and I've only worn it a few times.
What should I do with it? I'd hate to sell it, but I can't wear it and I hope to never be large enough to be able to wear it. It's just sitting in my house, collecting dust.

Sell it, Matt. Let another fan own it and wear it.

Did they stop production of the cd box now that the vinyl is coming out? I can't find the cds anywhere online with retailers. I ended up ordering from discogs via an Italian seller.

So Chris Cornell has booked a solo acoustic tour down this way and is Playing Wellington about the time my first born is due.

He's yet to announce Australian dates but I hope that is just around the corner.
