that boot was one of the first I ever got. I listened to it damn near every night at the age of 16 from front to back. That version of RITFW is - for me - THE version for pj cover. Will wrote:Twenty years ago tonight. My favorite version of this ever, which is probably why I love hearing them close shows with it. You can hear the voice going but the heart is there. There are few things in this world I'd love more than to see this tour released in full, even if some of the shows are probably incomplete. This is absolutely my favorite era of Pearl Jam.

The girl from TB2K who did the signing during GTF passed, so this seems as good a spot as any to drop the vid in tribute
A Letter from Kevin Shuss, Pearl Jam Videographer & Archivist about Kimberly Rae Schaefer
March 25 2015
I Didn't Know Kimberly Rae Schaefer
I'm the videographer for Pearl Jam. I've been fortunate to work with them for many years. During those years, I've worked & filmed during some pretty amazing moments. Moments when the band and crowd connect - and in that instant, it's more than just another concert. It becomes an event. A special memory.
After the 2000 tour, when we decided to try to make a concert DVD, we sat around and tried to figure out how to do that. Would it be one show from one city? Would it be a best-of?
The one constant in all those discussions was the song "Given to Fly" from the October 11, 2000 show in St. Louis, Missouri. Something special happened during that song that night. Something that stuck in all our minds after filming all those different shows.
"We have to use the footage of the woman doing the sign language interpretations!!"
When Eddie noticed her and mentioned it from stage, and then went over and helped her up onto the side of the stage, it started this moment that has become transcendent in Pearl Jam history.
It's my favorite part of touring band. It's the song I get more comments on than anything else about that DVD, when I meet fans or talk to people about that.
Pretty powerful stuff to be able to do your job with such love & passion that you inspire a bunch of people that are able to hear just fine. I can only imagine the joy Kim must have given the people with hearing loss, as she did her job.
I never knew Kimberly Rae Schaefer but she touched my life in a way I will never forget. 15 years on, and it's as clear as yesterday...
Thank you Kim!
Job well done!

Re: Pearl Jam Videos
That seems different than the 95 "movie" as in that looks to be just performances. I browsed through it quickly though but I saw the rehearsal of Baba o Riley with jack Irons in an empty arena which I hadn't seen before.

I don't remember it being that long? This one is an hour and 45 mins?Strat wrote:Wait. Maybe not. I skimmed too fast and haven't watched it in a long time.
Are there any good sources out there for the audio from this?
