1. Sad to see Athelstan go. I liked his character. So did my wife for different reasons. (she also thinks Rollo is hot)

2. Paris is turning out to be interesting. While I understand he wanted Floki to fail, I hope Ragnar and Floki patch things up.

3. I had no idea a lot of the main characters are actual people in viking history

4. That French princess is annoying

5. King Eckbert is annoying

6. I still think that guy that stole the Earl-dom from Lagertha and King Horik's son and Jarl Borg's wife are going to turn on Ragnar and the group.

I was sad to see Athelstan go as well. He was definitely one of my favorite characters. I really want to see Floki pay for that one. I used to really like Floki, but now I would like to see Ragnar kill him.

The whole Paris attack was really stressful. There was definitely a point when I though Bjorn and Rollo were dead.

I don't really like any of the French characters yet, but we'll see how they develop.

King Eckbert is still awesome. I felt like he wasn't trustworthy the whole time, but I really wanted things to work out between him and Ragnar because they are a good team. I would like to see a spinoff featuring Ragnar, Athelstan and Eckbert.

And yeah, that guy is trouble. Especially since Lagertha straight up told him she intends to kill him. Don't say it, just do it.

Couple of thoughts on that, tommy:

1. The show producer has said in the past that he envisions the story going on after the death of Ragnar. While I hope so badly that is not the case, I could see it happening. But I liken it to Daryl dying on TWD, if that happens, a lot of viewers would leave the show.

2. Will be interesting to see if this is a ploy to trick the French, or if he was serious about being baptized. If serious, the rest of his people will be very angry. I hope it is a trick kind of like when we thought he and Floki were mad at each other before killing King Horik last season.

3. I don't think Ragnar will die yet as I think he has unfinished business with King Ecbert and the slaughter of his farming colony there.

Man, I really love this show.
