I watched Citizenfour last night. Man. That thing wore me the fuck out. I had to watch some Kimmy Schmidt to recover.

The babadook and vhs: virus.
The first was really good; maybe The end is too obvious.
The second was just ok. Boring.

Glad you enjoyed The Kingsman.E.H. Ruddock wrote:So The Kingsman was a fun movie.
The theater by my house is playing an assortment of classic American movies I've never seen on the big screen, including The Raging Bull, The Casablanca, The Chinatown and The Saving Private Ryan. I may go to one of those.

Ruddock, I watched Monsters this weekend. I enjoyed it quite a lot, especially the scene where the two giant monsters make out.

Whiplash. Good but somewhat predictable.
On DVR: Going Clear. But it may be a few days before I get to watch it.

Walk of Shame is outstanding! I have no idea how this movie didn't get more buzz/notice. Funnier, sharper and more poignant than Bridesmaids. But I guess no one poops in a sink. So...
I mean, I loved Bridesmaids. But it's weird to me that that film got so much notice and this went virtually unseen.

Going Clear was good; I read the book, but it was great to hear so many participants' voices instead of just seeing them on the page. I'd never heard Hubbard speak before watching this, but I knew within 0.000000001 seconds that he was a con-man. How did others not?

Giving Aliens a try today. I've seen Alien a number of times, but never sat through the sequel the whole way; the only scene I'm familiar with is "Get away from her, you bitch!"

It Follows was good. Liked the first 2/3 or so better than the last part, but it was good (and scary).

Recently watched...
The Beastmaster. It was terrible. I loved it as a kid, nostalgia moved me to watch it again, and I should have left my childhood love for it alone.
The Skeleton Twins. This was a really solid movie. A bit depressing, a bit funny, lots of drama, and overall a nice flick. If you haven't seen it, I think some here, based on what I read from y'all, would like it.

Seriously. It was good; the acting, the story, the mystery...and then, THAT?! I don't even know what happened but I'm too irritated to watch it again.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Oh boy did the ending of this piss me offE.H. Ruddock wrote:Beyond
