Mania started and ended wonderfully but was good but not the greatest in the middle, but the main thing i keep thinking about this morning is the mane event, i had no idea how it was going to go and as i said the other day i had gotten to the point where i was ok with and kinda wanted to see Roman win( definitely seemed like i was the only one i the internet who felt that way lol ), but i didnt expect that match, i figured it would be a lot of back and forth and that Reigns was gonna look like the super hero that everyone seemed to be revolting against, but i absolutely loved watching him take everything that Brock was throwing at him and keep getting up, even smiling, i found myself standing up excited as Reigns started making his comeback. The cash in was great, and i think was the best way to make Roman and Brock both come out of the match looking strong, but i feel just a bit let down that we didnt get a conclusion to the story those 2 were telling.

if it wasnt for tonight always being pretty much the best Raw of the year then i think i would watch Mania again :D

I haven't watched Raw in a while, but I'll definitely tune in tonight. I assume they'll want to go big--could we see a triple-threat rematch for the title already?

Great show. That's the first PPV I've watched live in years and I was thoroughly entertained.

I honestly can't believe that two years in a row a former ROH champ walked out of Wrestlemania as the Heavyweight champion.

the crowd has a tendency to steal the show as well after Mania

i hope to see something big happening with Rollins, Brock and Reigns tonight though

I doubt we see Brock wrestle again before Summerslam.

Damn, Sting is 56. He sure as hell looks a lot better than Flair did at that age.

maybe not wrestle a match( though id be surprised if he doesnt have a rematch somewhere kinda soon) but he has to be around, if he just disappears after last night then he will look weak.
i honestly wouldnt be surprised if he wins the title back tonight and then doesnt wrestle till the summer, Bryan and Cena with the US and IC belts will definitely be able to carry things with him gone.

The only problem was he can't bend down to lock in the death lock anymore.

I would have preferred Brock left with the belt, but as long as it's not Reigns I'm happy. It wasn't a great show by Wrestlemania standards, but it was a good show. No stinker matches, couldn't really ask for more given how horrid the build up was.

Was anyone else weirded out by the sunlight?

it didnt really bother me once the matches started but pretty much all of the entrances were weak because of the lack of darkness

I feel like they didn't even realize it wasn't going to be dark out.

There was nothing particularly wrong with that 'Mania, but not much jaw-droppingly awesome either. The Rock segment, as usual, was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long, though I marked out when the crowd started chanting "Ronda Rousey" and the camera panned over to her.

The sunlight was definitely a bit of an issue for me. Everything felt just a little off kilter.

I'd be fine if The Rock never appeared again. I'm so sick of his 20 minute segments filled with recycled shtick from the late 90s.

I thought the DX/nWo thing ruined the Sting-HHH match, but I know most people liked it. First of all, all those guys look 100 years old. Secondly, they were putting on a pretty decent match that didn't need all of that to save it. Lastly, the nWo aligning with Sting makes no sense. The Four Horsemen would have made much more sense, but people don't pop for Arn Anderson and Barry Windham.

It's funny, my two favourite matches of the night were the ones I was least interested in: Sting/HHH and the main event. The first worked for me BECAUSE of the overbooking - Sting means nothing to me because we never got WCW in South Africa when I was growing up. He looked pretty stiff in the ring too - so I hope they don't have him go against Taker next year.

I also just enjoy the ever-living fuck out of watching Brock Lesnar beat people up. #neverchange

Also: Suplex City, Bitch.

Also, I watched the last 3 'Manias live and haven't sat through any of them since - are they always this drawn out? Felt like there were a lot of dragged out moments and slightly off production timing.

I enjoyed the shit out of watching Brock destroy Reigns. I also gained some respect for Reigns because of the ass whooping he took. I just hated the Sting-HHH booking because it was the only feud that they actually spent some time cultivating and put some thought into. So that 5 month build was so they could have an nWo and dx nostalgia party for the 1000th time?

Also, in-match run ins really don't work when the ring is a mile away from the stage. Rollins has to haul ass to cash that briefcase in.

Fun Mania. Better than I thought it would be. Ups and downs.....like most of them. Nowhere near as bad as 29, 9, 11 or 15. The card felt more Summerslam like but I thought Rollins/Orton was great, the ladder match was fun, Wyatt did a great job carrying Taker and oh yeah that ending!!!!

First......Sting losing sucked donkey balls but not surprising. That ego on HHH. Jesus! WHat a slap in the face to an all time great. I usually don't care who goes over but that was ridiculous. I don't think I have been that mad with who won or loss since Punk lost at Night of the Champions in 2011. To HHH as well. HHH is such a mark for himself and going over. It's fucking gross.

LOVED the ending though. THAT is how you book! Congrats to RoH and Midwestern's own Seth Rollins. Kid is smooth as butter in the ring. I hate to compare guys to past legends but a lot of HBK in Rollins. NOT that he will be THAT good but Rollins is one of only a few guys on the roster with the ability to have a great work rate. He will be a great champ IMHO.

I think we will see Rollins v Orton for the title at ER in a street fight. I bet Brock comes out tonight and cuts a promo saying something about biding his time before he wants his rematch. Rollins v Brock v Reigns for the title at Summerslam I bet.
