It had Miller there when I loaded it. Maybe it doesn't save it the same way it does for baseball.
From now on, I guess I'll just have everyone tell me if they want a goalie change.
hey Phil, I wouldn't mind seeing Dryden as my starter instead of Plante. Let me know if you can make the swap.
I can!
I think I mentioned this before, but I won't likely be able to run games on weekends. Unfortunately, that means I can't do any until Tuesday. I'm ok with someone taking over and running the next few days, too, if we have a volunteer.
I can't find an effective way to make a formula for GAA in the spreadsheet due to the time format being Hours Minutes Seconds and converting that into a full game =60 minutes. I guess I can fudge it and just do GoalsAllowed/W+L, but I wanted to get accurate to account for playing in OT/pulling goalie bringing the number of games into a fractional number
I may just to have to manually do it, but I think making a category of Games Equivalent Played and using that to divide the goals is effective. I'm going to have to play around with the numbers some more to see if i found the number you need to divide the time data by to find the GEP stat
TOI/2.50061249489587 is what I used to get an accurate number for GEP, so its probably safe to just use 2.5

I think the way I did it is I created a formula that includes minutes played and I can just manually update the total whenever I want.

TOI/2.5 seems to be the formula for games equivalent played
Mecca wrote:also, what do the stats QS and RBS mean? is that a carryover from baseball?
QS and Really bad start. I was just looking for things to add for the goaltenders that would automatically populate with the entered data. They're real things.
