Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
So was there nothing to the Macho Man/ Stephanie rumors? Or did they just put him in to get everyone to shut up about it?

Something definitely happened that caused Vince to put Savage on the No Fly List, but who knows if it was Stephanie.BurtReynolds wrote:So was there nothing to the Macho Man/ Stephanie rumors? Or did they just put him in to get everyone to shut up about it?

Steph was so hot Sunday and Monday. Good lord. That woman is just slammin hot.
Rikishi has an Iggy Azalea butt.
KoKo B Ware and Jim Duggan got in before Macho though haha. Vader is not in either which is a disgrace. Not that the WWE HoF is anything to take all too seriously.
Numbers (and everyone) watch the Vader/Cactus Jack match at Halloween Havoc in 1993. I can't name 5 matches I like better.

Reading the story Justin Roberts wrote about how they turned his relationship with that Connor kid into a PR bonanza was pretty depressing.

Vader is probably my favorite "big man" of all time(I generally hate them as a rule.) He has to be the most versatile super heavyweight ever. Could wrestle many different types of matches, and absolutely owned his gimmick.

Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
It really makes no sense. There is no bad blood I don't think. Vader came back in 2012 and made an appearance. I always heard Vince loved Vader as well and Vader was an easy guy to work with.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:man...agreed it's nothing to take seriously, but i still can't believe vader isn't inBigRedLedbetter wrote:Steph was so hot Sunday and Monday. Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
Every time I try to get into WCW, or other promotions in general, I find myself wanting to go back to WWE stuff. I know I'm missing out on a ton of great matches, but I'm such a slave for WWEs production values.

Vader will probably get in the next year or two. They gotta spread em out, and he's not in a wheelchair or dead, so I figure they want him.

Im right there with you. I was always loyal to WWF/E because it was put together so much better. Even when WCW was better (like early 90s and 1996) I watched more WWF/E than WCW. I'd always watch Raw live and tape Nitro. On a VHS. Fuck Im old.

Finally figured it out. Dolph Ziggler reminds me of Kurt Russell. Like Tango and Cash Kurt Russell.

his closing remark is as big an indictment on their motive as you can get. it's an incredible piece.

I feel bad for Daniel Bryan basically being forced to pretend he had an in depth relationship with that kid.

It really was a fascinating piece. It just goes to show that EVERYTHING they do is completely scripted.AndySlash wrote:you should. https://medium.com/@JustinRoberts/belie ... 6f34743af4BigRedLedbetter wrote:Ugh I have not read that story yet. Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
Sometimes I hope for Bryan, Rollins, Cesaro, Kidd, Ambrose, Dolph, Sandow, Balor, Zayn and Owens to say fuck you guys and go (back for some) to Ring of Honor. As much as I love pro wrestling it sickens me how shady it is sometimes. At least WWE. The NFL is pretty damn shady which has turned me off to pro football a lot the last few years but WWE is getting there. I really don't think it will get better under HHH. In fact, look who his wife is, it will get worse. As physically pleasing as I think Steph is (like top 5 all time for any woman) she seems like a huge thundercunt.numbers wrote:I feel bad for Daniel Bryan basically being forced to pretend he had an in depth relationship with that kid.

Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
She seems like she's a McMahon, I do think HHH taking over would improve the actual product they produce, but the shady activities? That's wrestling, always has been and always will be.

Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
I don't see what the problem is. Connor really did have all of the experiences in the video package and D Bry really is his favorite wrestler. That piece read more to me like Josh Matthews was hurt to have not gotten credit for all the work he put in, which I totally understand, but I don't think it diminshes what everyone in the company did for Connor.
