Absolutely. If he makes the cut and puts together a round or two of under par golf I think it will do wonders to rebuild some of his confidence.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:tiger has unfair expectation set upon him

I hate the TV coverage of the first two rounds. They should 4 hours when half of the field are already done playing. I guess it is still better than it used to be.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:agreed...especially since he's played so little competitive golf over the last year and a half or soMonkey_Driven wrote:Absolutely. Spieth already at 10 under. Unless someone puts up a huge number, this Masters could be a bloodbath.

Or he could have two or three bad holes. The kid has been on fire for the past 6-9 months.EJ wrote:Spieth already at 10 under. Unless someone puts up a huge number, this Masters could be a bloodbath.

This is looking like Tiger's 1997 blowout.

I was wondering where this thread went. Anyway, it was quite enjoyable to open up the windows and have my laptop nearby showing Spieth crush it earlier today.

he hasn't closed out well in the past, but heck he's only 21...to even be in contention last year at his first masters then leading after 54 this year is incredibly impressivebodysnatcher wrote:Yeah I hope he wins, but this is far from a done deallennytheweedwhacker wrote:nice run by rose...spieth will need to turn it on tomorrow, but i hope he pulls it out

Re: Doug and Lenny's all things golf
I haven't watched as much golf as most of you, I'm guessing, but that struck me as a once in a generation type Masters. What especially entertained me was how despite all the history, Jordan didn't run away with it. Sounded like Justin, Phil, and Rory were all proud of their low scores, but sometimes it just isn't enough.
Electro, were you able to make it there this year? I really hope you were.
