I like it. The early reviews generally agreed that the first one was the best of the first 4-5 episodes of the new season.
The first act reminded me of when a roommate of mine got married. I knew him, his to be wife, his parents and a couple of his friends. I was only going to the reception, which was being held the local conference center. There were two receptions that day & I was at the wrong one for about 10-15 minutes before I realized I was at the wrong reception. I had to subtly take my gift from the table and sneak out. Totally felt like a Larry David moment at the time.

That bit about aliens was fucking fantastic. I'm not sure I've ever heard anyone take that angle before. Man. This guy.

Stephen Hawking has been saying any interaction with aliens would be a disaster for us for a while. Louie stole his act. Hack. :D

Which is probably the one biggish issue I had with the last season. Seemed like he spent to much effort trying to connect dots that didn't need to be connected.
