Teen Spirit kinda changed everything. Being alive and young and in that moment in time was quite literally life changing. So I can't be mad at anyone putting it in the #1 spot. It's a case of a song not necessarily being a band's "best song" but getting recognition above better songs for the sheer force and impact that it had.

I am not one of these snobby pretentious music people. I dig Teen Spirit. It's like the in thing for some folks to NOT like the BIG song from a band. It's a good song but I can think of a lot of songs on that same album I like more. Shrug.

I love "Smells Like Teen Spirit", and it certainly changed my life, but it isn't my favorite Nirvana song. There are so many great Nirvana songs...it kind of boggles the mind.
