numbers wrote:Actually, one of the new features is that you can carry a RTTS/Franchise over from the previous year. Most of it is just cosmetic stuff, I think they added one of those online dynasty games that NHL has but I don't get into those .
I think you can only carry over RTTS files from 14 or later, making my 13 guys useless :-(

I played High Heat Baseball from 2002-2012 or so, and had a decade-long franchise with the Brewers. When I make characters from RTTS, I name them after players that I drafted in that game. But my main RTTS guy is named after me, and when I created him, I chose the Sox as the team that drafted me. But before I even got moved out of Portland, they traded me--to the fucking Brewers.

This year they have a community creations section that you can download rosters and equipment from. I was able to get live rosters with all the actual prospects, which was really cool.

New DLC for Mario Kart 8: 200cc. Insanely faster than the 150cc:

Can't wait. I played online for about an hour on the Gamepad while watching the Masters. Such a fun game with buttery smooth gameplay/graphics.

have you tried any of the mods? Game of Thrones and the like?
To be honest I never really got into CK2. I am more of an EU4 fan.

I think I should give it another shot, though. I hear nothing but good things about it.

I've been reading that even the best of MK players are having to use the brakes quite a bit on the 200cc

That is great. Brings way more strategy into what karts you choose and when to boost, etc.

Awesome. I love the way they've rolled out the DLC. Having 16 new tracks in total is a great way to extend the replayability.

Finally playing Dishonored; should I go for a non-lethal playthrough my first time, or go in guns a blazing?

Between Bloodborne, Shovel Knight on Vita, and the new Mario Kart DLC my gaming plate is very full. All excellent, first class experiences.

I've only played through them once, but I was impressed. One level is clearly inspired by Toy Story and the F Zero track brought back a lot of memories. That series really needs to return.

I also did a few races in 200C. Good lord.

I didn't know the 200cc was available yet. I don't think I'll be cut out for it, though.

It fundamentally changes the game. I'm all about drifting for speed boosts but you just can't for many of the turns.
