"Lounge Act" is probably my favorite Nirvana song too -- it has this mournful undercurrent to it that I can't quite describe, like it's one of a small of handful of Kurt's songs where he doesn't sound like he's trying to bury the vulnerability in rage or irony. A beautiful song.

Other bands have been very important to me but I expect nothing will ever be quite like the life-altering, "EURAKA" moment that Nirvana was for me. They've had a profound influence on my life.

This. Nirvana blew my mind to pieces when I was in high school and I wouldn't be the same person I am today had I never gotten into them. To me they are infallible.

I think his description of PJ was fairly accurate though I don't see that description as a negative. I mean you can like Minor Threat and Bad Company. A guy like that couldn't or wouldn't but a music fan who wasn't obsessed with cool could.
