I rewatched ep 4 last night. I liked it even more the second time around which tends to be the case wtih this show. Even though i've read the books a second watch helps me catch the little things they do.

Re: HBO: Game of Thrones (Song of Ice and Fire)
I finally watched episode 4 last night, and it was by far my favorite since Blackwater. The scene with Varys and Tyrion was amazing, as were all the plot setups.
My only beef with the last scene was the cheesiness with the unsullied pounding their swords in unison to join Dany, but I assume that was in the book so I'm ok with it.
And I can't believe that there were moments that I felt sorry for both Jamie and Theon.

It's the very thing that makes this story one of the best I've ever read.

I just started watching this series yesterday, and I'm 5 episodes in. I don't know what took me so long!

The only thing I'm still confused on is that I don't know who is in charge of winterfell right now, and who is holding Theon? Is it the greyjoys on both counts? Who burned winterfell? Did we see that onscreen?

Wait, we weren't in Winterfell in tonight's episode? Where were Jaime and Brienne taken?

As did Jaime.
These last two episodes back to back have been of the strongest episodes of the series. This season is living up to its promise.

All I can say is Coster- Waldau really nailed the scene with the story behind his slaying of the mad king, no one could have done it better, is this really the same character that pushed a kid out a window in the first episode?

It is not said in the show who is burned down winterfell and who is holding theon, if you know the books it's easy to put together, but if you didn't I am sure that will be resolved toward the end of the season.

Makes me feel bad for season four, but I guess every series needs their "The Two Towers" period.

Agreed, and the producers were really excited about this season in particular, so, it's nice to see that they were dead on when promising this season would be great - think that came from an Entertainment Weekly item that I had read.Monkey_Driven wrote:This.durdencommatyler wrote:She sure did.intodeep wrote:Ygritte![]()
