I don't release anything. Instead I regularly post about these fantastic unreleased gems that I happen to have and how I can't share them, sorry.

Commission Berlinger and Sinofsky to do a warts-and-all documentary about the history of Pearl Jam. Have a reenactment of Stone's final breakfast with Dave A but do it in the style of Waking Life.
Call it "Five Against One" and sell it alongside "PJ20" for the darker and lighter takes on the band.

That's not how it works. The rules were issued as a memo. You can have your preferences as to how things "should" be done but be aware that you ignore the way they are at the peril of your new position.B wrote:None of us read the first post. The rules should be a numbered list.

The unreleased Ten Club "monkey man" booties collection from 2009.

Man, what's with this hard on for the 1996 tour? There are some good shows but if you're looking for Jack material, Pacific Rim '95 and '98 would be better.

I'll release every PJ concert I've seen in succession, one every month, and then I'll close up shop and let the rest of you pound sand.
I might be able to get to an E-bow.

Agreed. I'd rather see March 1998 shows than something from 1996, unless that something was Randall's Island II or Hamburg.darth_vedder wrote:Because it's heavy on the No Code material.twoheadedboy wrote:Man, what's with this hard on for the 1996 tour? My first order would be to re-edit and release the 1995 tour movie. My second would be a full release of Soldier Field 1995. My third would be to release the 1998 Pacific Rim tour in its entirety, with the March 05 show as a stand-alone release (or maybe the March 11 show...they're both incredible).

1. PJ20
dvds, full boots, book from the weekend...a nice and complete pack.
2- Boots from the vault
At least one per year from different years, the first one being Red Rocks 95, a nice packaging with photos.
3- shows in blue ray and dvd
Again, from different eras too..first one has to be from the 1998 tour.
4- release the 1995 movie.

Every Record Store Day, I'd dig through the unreleased studio shit and put out a 7".
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Re: Congratulations, you've been put in charge of the PJ vau
i would recreate pearljam.com into a gateway for fans to access as much of the music as they want to pay for.
my first order of business would be opening up things in a kickstarter like fashion (somewhat like tool & radiohead have done) to get people to fund the packaging and/or analog/digital format that they want. for anything. all recordings would be listed and different packages would be made available for everything.
different donations would commission different artists for each album/boxset purchased. tom tomorrow designs would be the cheapest design sets (vitalogy-like packaging would be the upper level). fernando apodaca, munk one, ames bros, and brad klausen would also be available for any and all music packages (individual band member designs would also be available in the smallest quantities... the Boom designs would all be plushy).
so the schedule for release would be determined by fan donation/interest in certain tours/shows/recording sessions (i'm thinking Tchad Blake's Binaural would generate substantial interest).
I'd also open up the many photographers that have covered the band to provide album packaging. Also I'd get the band connected with Third Man Records and pump out some "black circles".

Why is PJ20 so high on everyone's list?
