There are so many great Nirvana songs...it kind of boggles the mind.

Chad Channing seems like a lovely guy but man I wish Dale Crover had played on all of the early Nirvana material. Crover's drumming simply demolishes what Channing was doing at the time, the difference between each drummer's tracks on Bleach is jarring.

Agreed. But Chad finally started to figure it out towards the end. He couldn't be the guy to put Nirvana over the top, though.

Oh, and man I absolutely love "Beeswax". And pretty much everything else Nirvana created in 1988. It's so weird that they wrote all this complex post-punk stuff, and then Kurt got bored with it really fast. That band, the 1988 band, could have been killer continuing to do stuff like that and most of it didn't even make a studio album (unless you count Incesticide).

In a related note, Incesticide is probably my favorite Nirvana release. It just never gets old, the songs are killer and it's sequenced perfectly. Oh, and the artwork:
