This was going to be my Nevermind pick...

Ok guys, sounds good. I thought my pick was legal.

I'll keep Dumb, make it the studio version, and grab Lithium as my top pick

I wonder if we will ever see a Nirvana revisited tour of such. Like Dave, Krist and Pat go on tour with a few different people. John McCauley of Deer Tick comes to mind s far as a singer goes. It's a stretch but I think there is a lot of demand to hear these songs and there is a whole generation that has not experienced Nirvana. I mean I understand the leave the memories alone thing but it would not shock me if something like this happened.

I posted a Deervana cover before but here is another one. McCauley does a good job I think.

A reunion with another singers seems like a no win situation to me. It's fine for a one off but I gotta think even if they entertained the idea they'd back away when it came down to it.

And you might be right. Maybe a residency in Seattle or something?

I'd love to see Mark Arm or Lanegan or Roger Osborne but I have to imagine they asked them for the Hall Of Fame thing and they said no. Anyone who would say yes would probably be lame. A very special night with Nirvana featuring Adam Lambert.

Why would they say no I wonder?

HAHA @ Adam Lambert.

Yeah, he's off to a strong start. Lounge Act was going to be my first pick after Aneurysm, Dive, You Know You're Right and Sliver were all fucking taken. But he nabbed that one and I went with the SIXTH song on my list.

I also really expected, maybe naively so, that Francis Farmer would make it back to me. Had no idea that one was such a big hit around here. I should've taken maybe instead of EiHY. But whatever. I fucking ADORE EiHY. It's such a great song that really means a lot to me. The summer of my 14th year lives deep inside that song.

Whatever else, the people in this tournament have GREAT fucking taste in Nirvana songs.

Off topic but I just read a nytimes article about Jason Everman. I had no idea he ended up as a highly decorated US Special Forces member. Now hes at Columbia studying Philosophy. Add that to being kicked out of Nirvana and Soundgarden and I bett hes got a few stories to tell.

Figure I'd nab it before someone else did... Studio version, of course.
