I decided it would be easier and more accurate if I used a 5* system and graded each song individually. This grade would be based on how enjoyable the listening experience was for me this weekend (yes, it was a Nirvana listening marathon). I also considered the choice of taking alternate recordings versus proper studio cuts... and the former were scrutinized more heavily for uniqueness and sound quality. I have an impatiently discerning ear when it comes to bullshit...
