In the book, I loved the tension of him about to be hanged, pleading for his life. Jon says "wait, this isn't right" and you don't know what the fuck he's thinking. Is he going to let Janos go because he pleads for mercy? Then, "fetch me a block" as if to say "haha, gotcha! I'm totally the kid raised by ned stark"

Yeah, looks like Sansa is taking over the Jenye Poole (aka fake Arya) plot. So either Tormund IS Mance and they just haven't revealed Melisandre's glamour yet. Or he'll take over the Mance portion of the story, maybe.

But now I really wonder what the fuck Martin's planning on doing with Sansa in the books.
