this movie was really fun, messy fun. There seemed to be a lot of "that's what she said" or "phrasing" lines in it, too.

A nice little touch: When Stark goes into Hawkeye's barn, there is a large archery target where the bullseye is completely shot out and no other marks on the target.

Heh, Ultron took a quick glance at the internet then immediately decided that humanity needs to be wiped out. I couldn't agree more.

i'll probably watch it, but i'm not thrilled about it...i thought the first one was mostly uninteresting and incredibly overrated
Are there any non-Nolan superhero movies in your canon, len?
i like all 3 iron man movies (i know 2 is flawed but i don't hate it)...i loved the winter soldier, thought the first one started out well, but fell apart in the second half...the thor's are okay, but don't do much for me

spiderman is a mixed bag - i liked the first one, loved the second, the third was a huge misstep...i didn't care that much for the amazing spiderman part 1, but am one of the few who kinda liked part 2 (probably due to low expectations)

x-men 1 and 2 are solid, 3 is pretty much garbage as are the wolverine stand alone movies...first class was very good, and days of future past was solid but a little overrated

okay i'm tired of typing
Isn't that like every super hero movie ever made?

I wanted to see the X-men movie with Fassbender, but I flaked out.
there's two of those, you know?
And they say that a hero could save us
I'm not gonna stand here and wait

Is this for real? Like, that's the plot of this movie?

If he based his plans on a quick run through the internet, he should have known that he could just retard the growth of an entire generation of men by helping them spend their adulthood chasing the iconography of their youth. It would probably make them easy pickings.

Except that for every adult like him with disposable income to spend on movies and toys, there are 25 parents with disposable income income to spend on movies and toys. I can mute the voice in my head that says, "Oh my fucking god! Buy that! It's so cool!" but I can't seem to mute my kids when they're saying the same thing.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Yeah, everything about the way they make and market these things just screams, "let's make this movie about superheros and wars in the stars the greatest thing any kid has ever seen, because that's where the real money comes from and that's who we're most interested in."

Oh, well see, your post "we're not so different you and I" is a direct quote from the hit song You and I Both by Jason Mraz. I was celebrating your good taste in singer-songwriters, duh.
