Overall I'm really surprised that the Sabres make the playoffs when there are original 6 teams with many more years of superstars that couldn't compete.

He had a lot of big games, for sure.

The Leafs finished pretty much as I expected. Other than a few years in the 30's-40's, they've never really had any superstars. I think I mentioned this before the tournament started, but I think the Leafs would be hard-pressed to get more than a couple players on a team like the Habs. Maybe Salming, maybe a couple guys like Conacher, Jackson, Kennedy... the star power on the Leafs just isn't there at all.

The biggest surprises for me have probably been the Sabres and Blackhawks.
