Dorne would be nice, as long as I was highborn.

For sure, but if I was lowborn I'm not sure I'd pick Dorne first in the Seven Kingdoms.Mecca wrote:Let's face it, everywhere sucks if you're not highborn

When I said "where do you want to go," I really meant where do you want the narrative to eventually go. That's why I picked the most mysterious, disease-ridden places.

Re-reading Feast. I wonder if anything is going to come of Sarella Sand. Is she the sphinx from the prologue?

One thing that I've always wondered about was Robb's order that Jon Snow be named his heir just before the Red Wedding. Will that ever come up again and hold any weight?

I've wondered that myself. If the Manderlys or other Northern houses loyal to Stark know about that it could prove interesting.

Yeah, the North remembers. Who else was there? Would the Blackfish know?cutuphalfdead wrote:I've wondered that myself. If the Manderlys or other Northern houses loyal to Stark know about that it could prove interesting.

Yeah, I got that. Still wonder if it's a thread that will actually go anywhere though.durdencommatyler wrote:Or I'll shut up. I'm not a fan of most changes the show has made this season.

Also, they don't ever sail through the ruins of old Valyria in the book, do they? The Stone Men attack happens on the Rhoyne before Mormont comes into play, and then Tyrion ends up in Volantis where they board a boat and sail around Valyria to Slaver's Bay, no?
