Yeah I was left with the assumption that this was leftover footage thrown together for a cash grab after the success of Restrepo. It didn't really offer anything new.turned2black wrote:Korengal wasn't nearly as good as Restrepo, but still solid.

I'm starting to get into ESPN's 30 for 30 docs. Pretty interesting stuff. Anyone have favorites I should seek out? There's a lot to choose from.

I wasn't able to watch the entire thing, but what I saw of their doc on sports photographers was outstanding.LoathedVermin72 wrote:I'm starting to get into ESPN's 30 for 30 docs. Pretty interesting stuff. Anyone have favorites I should seek out? There's a lot to choose from.

Been watching a bunch of nature docs. The spy series on netflix is really good and has excellent imagery. "Life"is another good one.

Saw Fahrenheit 9/11 again the other night. That footage of the soldiers in Iraq made me think of you Ruddo. I can't imagine what you've seen.

Watched Tyson last night, which was one of the best movies I've ever seen. Innovative, unique, and full of piercing empathy, understanding, and social clarity. I love James Toback.

The 30 for 30 about the miracle on ice from the russian perspective was pretty good. Also the one on rotisserie league baseball.
