what would you do if faced with such extreme adversity?
Die.
would you wait on the elements to overtake you, or just off yourself?
And they say that a hero could save us

I'd probably go the noble sacrifice route.

I KNEW IT!!!

Starting "Alive" tonight, btw. Wife just finished it. I've seen the movie, but it was a long time ago, and I'm sure the book is a more accurate account. Been really into non-fiction adventure these past few years.

I just finished The Terror by Dan Simmons. It was one of the better modern books that I've read. I will probably read another Simmons book someday. Does anyone recommend any of his other works?

AMC owns the rights to this. It's supposed to be a series or mini-series someday.

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith

One of those books I probably should have read a long time ago. Finally getting around to it. I'm only about 100 pages in, but I'm fucking loving it. This is a really lovely book, so far.

Got an advanced reader copy of Among the Ten Thousand Things by Julia Pierpont. I'm about half way through and I'm blown away. Lights out debut.

A finished A Turn Of The Screw last night. I didn't think of it as a classic. Meh.
