I realize how crazy this sounds, but I think the Westbrook injury increased the chances of somebody beating the Heat. The Thunder are great, but they are also a perfect matchup for Miami. San Antonio and Memphis on the other hand, not so much.

I would have to put Spurs, Clippers, Grizz ahead of the Thunder right now. I tend to agree that the Thunder don't match well against the Heat. They both like to get out and run but the Heat play much better team defense and have the one player in the league who is more skilled than Durant.

JR Smith with the ridiculous elbow to Terry's face resulting in an ejection....

I was wrong about the Knicks being average. They are above average at getting technical fouls and flagrants.

Yup. I like the Spurs' chances against the Heat much better then their chances against OKC with Westbrook.

Nate lost his mind at the end of the fourth. It all started with that CJ Watson missed dunk. I feel like the Bulls are running out of gas though and fould trouble is going to hurt them in the 3rd OT.

Losing that game would have been very tough. Losing a 14 point 4th quarter lead and shooting a grade school percentage from the free throw line confirms what we all knew: The Nets are a joke and a fraud.

Wow. I missed that play. Only saw OT #1 and 2.

Not sure I agree with it being a boneheaded play. Not like he's trying to throw it down...poor little guy just had some bad luck.

Wasn't he a Bull a few seasons ago?

He was a bull last season. He was a frustrating player who was particularly bad during the Sixers series after Rose went down last year.

It absolutely is a bonehead play, by the way. There was not a single Bull past half court when he caught the ball, he could have taken his time and laid it in. His team was up 14 and he has a chip on his shoulder over the Bulls not picking up his relatively inexpensive option for this season.

Eh, I've seen missed layups in that situation too.

Hope Memphis pulls it out. Tired of the bandwagon Clippers fans. That team is a one trick pony anyway.

How many NBA players miss layups with the closest defender 50 feet away though?

What I'm saying is it doesn't happen, Knickerbocker. That layup in that situation is 100/100.

If he goes for the layup it would literally have been an act of God if he had missed it. Instead, an undersized guard with weak athleticism tried to dunk against his old team to show them up and ended up opening the flood gates to an epic 4th quarter collapse.

A twisted part of me kinda wants the Knicks to come all the way back here and then sweep the Pacers. An even more twisted part of me thinks it'd even be great if the Heat dropped a game or two and looked a little vincible against the Bulls. It'd be kind of fun to see a Knicks-Heat series where NYK fans legitimately think they're going to win.

Then the rational/waiting for something bad happen part of me wants to slap that twisted/cocky part of me.

I hope the Bulls take a few games from the Heat. This group of guys deserve better than a sweep.
